This dental mirror was made by Julien Marmont. Marmont is credited with inventing the odontoscope in 1803. The inscription on the mirror gives an address at 'Rue Nueve des Petits Champs' - this street was renamed as 'Rue Danielle Casanova' in 1944.

This blood transfusion set is believed to be the type used during World War One. It is made up of rubber and glass tubing. You can just see the hollow steel needle.

The rage I feel. As a dual national, I got caught up in this nonsense last year when I was prevented from returning to the UK. I was stuck in the US for 6 weeks & nearly ran out of cancer meds. What exactly is this arbitrary requirement that dual citizens carry British passports achieving here?

Brexit has been an objective disaster. Yet, many people who voted for it still believe the reason it failed was not because the politicians selling it to them lied (and profited from those lies), but because it was bungled. Rejoining the EU makes sense, but it's the third rail of British politics.
