I love how The Ultimates, especially Luke Cage's Avengers, are an examination of leftist revolution, including a spotlight on how mutual aid and civilian support systems make or break any attempt to fight a fascist government. @denizcamp.bsky.social is doing some fantastic work on that title.

Luke Cage faces harsh pushback in Ultimates 21. The Avengers are gaining ground while the Ultimates deal with the Maker in Ultimate Endgame, but it is coming at a heavy cost. Ultimates remains a must read at 21 just like it did from issue 1.

One of the best things I've read this year. An exploration of the language of comics in narrative form. An outstanding issue in an already outstanding series.
