Evidently, kids in Savannah get the whole week of Thanksgiving off from school. So this morning became a “bring your kid to work day” at the studio.

That second arc of Dark Patterns has already landed on my modern Batman all-timers story list. Scarface is my favorite Gotham villain and I love what Watters does with the whole concept of the character here. Sherman’s art is just top-shelf throughout too. So good. 👍👍

Finally found a use for my tele bridge cover!

Had to set up my new guitar and put on some heavier strings, but found some time tonight to plug it in and mess around. Just sort of noodling in B but really digging how it feels and sounds so far. #guitar

Someone brought in a BB King Signature Lucille guitar (complete with stereo output) for a set-up today. King auctioned it off at a charity event back in the early 2000’s and it was bought by one of Gregg Allman’s kids. Pretty neat! #guitar #bbking #gibson

I’m an easy mark for Grant Morrison comics, but this one hit the spot for me. Connects dots all through their DC and Marvel stuff. Mora’s art is awesome too but that’s sort of a given at this point. I read it twice and enjoyed it both times. 👍👍

Put my daughter’s Loog guitar into an easier tuning for kid hands and started messing around on it. Trying to get her interested in music without pushing it on her. At the end of this little clip you can hear Charley run in and shout "let me try that!” Success!!

Found a JLA 80-Page Giant in the dollar bins- I’d never heard of this Dan Curtis Johnson & Dale Eaglesham one-shot before but enjoyed it, especially how they told Moon Maiden’s origin like an old Silver-Age story.

After three back-to-back shows Saturday, I was dragging through Sunday. So I put on Legend and soaked up all of the beautiful sets, dreamy music, and badass costume designs. One of those flicks where I’m just 100 percent on board with the whole aesthetic. Love those little Goblins!
