So, unironically I think M3GAN 2.0 might be my film of the year? Just outrageous amounts of fun. The original film wasn't very scary but *was* very good at being camp and outrageous when it allowed itself to be, so 2.0 absolutely made the right call in doubling down on that rather than on horror.
