Unacceptable, yet totally unsurprising. The mayor is once again echoing the same kind of bigoted rhetoric that puts so many trans people's lives in danger - all just to score some cheap political points for his doomed campaign and the lobbying career he's angling for after.

Awful and dangerous to hear the Mayor echo the transphobic bigotry coming from the Trump administration. It's completely at odds with the values of our city and another reason why his single, disgraced term in office cannot end soon enough.

ICE just arrested Brad Lander, the NYC Comptroller and one of the leading candidates for Mayor, without grounds. He was conducting routine immigration court work, escorting individuals from hearings. He asked ICE for their warrant - well within his legal rights. This is political intimidation.

Susan Crawford wins the Wisconsin Supreme Court election, according to many election analysts. This after Elon Musk and others poured millions into anti-transgender advertisements in the state. The anti-trans panic failed in Wisconsin. This is a major victory for LGBTQ+ people in the state.
