'A simple (perfect) life' - my spring landscape is finally finished! An apple orchard in bloom, old railway, sheep with their lambs and an allotment being prepared for growing :) Zoom in to see all the other tiny details too... I think this might be my favourite aerial embroidery I've ever done!

This style of light doesn't really appear in animation anymore. You know it when you see it -- it's bright, hot and almost dangerous. Our new issue explores the tricks behind it, and how one artist has revived the look for the digital age:

telling real jam from cheap 'jam' is very easy: you look at the ingredients list, and if the first ingredient is sugar, you put it back on the store shelf and walk away

One of my favorite things in older/lower budget sci-fi shows is when you notice the spaceship set design ended at the barely disguised concrete soundstage floor

This might be a long shot, but does anyone know of some video games that can be played ENTIRELY through voice commands (without any pesky modding required)? A game-loving family member became disabled last year and I know they've been missing video games. (Reposts appreciated for greater reach)
