Ok. They’ve pissed me off. I’m back to tell you 3 things about ID cards: 1. Migrants ALREADY HAVE biometric ID cards & govts have been trying to digitise them for years w repeated fuckups & failures causing complete chaos - they don’t work, you do not want that system for you.

This petition has, for some reason, leapt up to almost 700,000 signatures. Why not add yours if you're in the UK? All they want is your name, postcode and email address, which is a lot less than the ID card will want.

This is an important one, folks. The question isn't how ID cards would improve efficiency under a humane and sensible government, it's how they would be misused by, say, Nigel Farage to target brown people or queer people or disabled people or just white migrants like me who are a little weird.
