I am genuinely worried about newbie devs. It's super common to use things like Claude Code these days (I do!), but a lot of the folks singing its praises are senior developers. We know what the fuck we're doing. But I have no idea what advice to give to new people. Its a different landscape.

I’m trying to dip my toe back into game development and I’m really surprised at how awful the Unity editor experience is on Linux. Slow, crashes often, the player doesn’t render anything. I’m sure there are fixes, but good lord getting a development environment running takes a while.
