I was a child for most of the 1990s, and I get irrationally angry at the absolute onslaught of those 90s nostalgia accounts. I'm sure someone out there makes more money than I do to feed the algorithm with "WHO REMEMBERS STEVE URKEL??"-type shit.

I lived in Washington state from 2008-2009, and I immediately became enamored with the area and the Mariners. I still feel like a bandwagon fan sometimes, but there's no shame in that.

I've written more in the last four days than I have in the last four years. I'm keeping a month-long training diary for my half-marathon on October 11th. A thousand words a day, reflecting on my workouts and whatever else is on my mind. No editing, no overthinking, just daily writing.

Another season, another round of "Great British Baking Show" contestants who are impossibly wholesome and cultured. "When he's not baking, security software analyst Nigel lives in this picturesque British cottage surrounded by baby ducks, and loves to go deep-sea diving."

I've dealt with every running ailment you can imagine over the years: a broken bone from a fall, sprains, strains, nipple chafing, bloody toenails....but having a blood blister might be the grossest one yet. 🫥
