I have no affiliation with Anne Health, I'm just a (happy) paying customer. Everyone there makes me feel like a valid human just trying to find her way in life, whereas the NHS gatekeeping feels like an initiation ritual with tests that you need to pass in order to be "trans enough".

These two appointments were private but with NHS clinicians following NHS clinical practice. I thought at the time that was the way to go. I was wrong. I've since switched to @annehealthcare.bsky.social. Their informed consent model is in line with international best practice and I feel *seen*.
