Another patch almost finished

In late ‘24 a mother who knew the fear of losing a child to suicide, reached out to me, a mother who’d seen that fear realised. Within months I was in Belfast meeting the mammies, quite afraid of my place, all their children lived. Thank you @imamammie.bsky.social for that. Thank you for this.

Absolutely 💯 agree with all of this, I spent years on the review of Trans healthcare in NI and I tell anyone who will listen, avoid the NHS gender services at all costs if you can!

Very important THREAD. This is why the Starmer regime is failing to implement its promised Bannon conversion therapy; the “new” GIDS and the transphobic school “guidance” produced by Bridget Phillipson, together constitutes state-mandated trans conversion therapy.

Families in Northern Ireland with gender-questioning children are being let down. The suspension of NI’s participation in the UK-wide Pathway clinical trial leaves 45 young people in limbo at our single youth gender service, with no clear path forward. 1/6
