The scale of suffering and bloodshed in Gaza is intolerable. Alongside party leaders from across the UK, I have written to the Prime Minister demanding immediate action. Parliament must be recalled to end arms sales, introduce sanctions and uphold international law.

I am deeply saddened to hear of David's passing. He had such a positive spirit and always stood up for those in his community, being a voice for everyone. My thoughts are with David's friends and family. He will be sorely missed.

With no credible alternatives, the Windsor Framework is necessary for political stability. Alliance has always been firmly pro-European. In a debate where all members’ votes are of equal worth, ours have made the difference in ensuring the strength of our relationship with the EU.

Softer Brexit alternatives were dismissed by those now opposing the Windsor Framework. Ironically, the DUP called it a success earlier this year. Alliance backs the Framework, not because it’s perfect, but because it’s the best choice for stability over chaos.
