Rory McIIroy points to the Ryder Cup scoreboard, where the EU has a commanding lead, after being heckled about his wife, his career, etc. by obnoxious American fans. This disgusting display of poor sportsmanship is a result of their rude, juvenile president making it acceptable behaviour

To all my 2SLGBTQIA+ ,if you chose to cross the border...be VERY AWARE that the american gov is now actively against us all! Do not have anything that indicates who you really are!! Or better yet... don't go. I have stopped now that I do not have a US life partner anymore. Far too risky

Been trying to explain why economy increasingly feels like it's running wholly on rich people passing each other same bag of money - innovation is stalled, unemployment is rising, but stock tickers are still somehow going up. This example captures the current state of our economy perfectly.

One thing the media's reticence to label Kirk an extremist has made jarringly clear is how scared they are of the people in power now who share his extremist beliefs. In the space of nine months, they have internalized a fear of condemning racism, misogyny, homophobia and antisemiticism.

The Dems need to stop this "When it's all over, we'll be remembered as the ones who followed the rules" stuff, because that's how the British army had their asses handed to them in the Revolution. The followed the rules of war. The Colonists ambushed them from trees. We need to be Colonists.

It was ~3pm on September 28, 1972. I was 6yrs old sitting in the gymnasium with the rest of my school watching Game 8 of the Summit Series on an old black & white TV high up on the rolling TV stand. The day is etched in my memory. Ken Dryden kept us in the game to enable the famous winning goal.
