I was trying to wrap my head around the size of a 90,000 square foot ballroom, so I looked up the size of an average Costco for comparison. (146,000 sf) Trump's ballroom is about 2/3 of the size of a Costco. How often do you need a room that big if you're supposed to be doing your job?

Today's as good a day as any to teach your kids that Disney sucks. I used to work for them, so I've known it for 30+ years, but now you know, too.

Charlie Kirk was a bad guy in his life. Nothing changed because he's dead. It's OK to call out bad people. It's not necessary to celebrate their murder, but sainthood isn't automatically applied upon death. You are judged by your legacy. Too bad Charlie didn't think that through for his kids.

You may not feel like you're much of a writer, but everyone needs to chronicle this time in history from their own point of view. Your children and grandchildren need to know what this moment was like, and history may well get whitewashed.

Rest in Peace, Minnesota State Rep. Melissa Hortman. She was targeted and assassinated on June 14, 2025 between 2 am and 3:35 am CDT in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Vance Boelter was targeting 70+ Democrats at the time of the incident.

I'm happy to post this tonight, but I hope that Charlie Kirk will be little more than a footnote tomorrow morning as a new news cycle takes over. He fucked around and found out that hateful rhetoric can bounce back and get you. I hope his children will be raised with better values now.
