This is exactly right, and it's one of many reasons I have no patience for people smugly explaining that the regime will win every election going forward by stationing small numbers of goons at key voting sites. If they do that, more people will vote (and vote agains them) at those sites.

I think one thing people outside Minnesota don't understand is that after Good and Pretti were killed by feds while observing, the most normal people you could imagine have made peace with the fact that they could be next, and they are still out there because they say it's the right thing to do.

I think a thing worth keeping in mind when you use social media is that every time you hear someone speak in real life as if they were on social media you immediately discount them as some mix of fool, crank, rube, and asshole.
