The *useful* thing about Tom Homan being exposed taking bags of cash to benefit entities like GEO, now immigration lawyers can routinely point to that as an explanation for the stupid detention policy adopted by Trump's Admin.

Apparently the reason that the FBI didn’t go after Homan once he’d taken the alleged bribe is that bribery requires an official act, and at the time he had no official role.
