So I would really love it if people could get out of their "Oh I understand, haha farmers are just racist!" comfort zones and see this as the PERSONAL problem it is. No matter who you are, the farm lobby thinks of YOU as their own personal livestock. To fleece, milk, & carve up.

Blurring "wtf is going on with farmers" down into "aha they're just racist" kinda starts to feel like cope after a while. It's a way for white folks to wall off farm problems into a nice, safe, "Oh this doesn't concern me" issue. "Fixing this would be an act of charity to help someone else."
