I think Americans are realizing that democracy is a participation sport, and the the government is ours if we want it to be. I feel like we got complacent and hoped some other third party would do the work for us. Seems like we have to learn that lesson every generation.

Reminder: President Trump could order the DOJ to release the Epstein files TODAY, no vote by Congress required. He hasn't had a change of heart, he's just saying whatever it takes to cover his own ass.

This is just theater for MAGA. If Trump REALLY wanted the Epstein Files released, he doesn't need Congress. He could just call Pam Bondi and order her to release them. He hasn't. And won't.
