We need to stop measuring the economy by how wealthy the top 1% are doing or by how much the stock market has increased. Instead we need to start measuring a country’s success by its standard of living, its access to healthcare/education and its the levels of homelessness/poverty.

ICE aren’t spending $40+ billion on detention camps in order to remove people from the USA. Deportation wouldn’t require a network of concentration camp warehouses. The obvious lie needs to be addressed by the media.

This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.
