so "they're using AI for references" absolutely, 100% means that the references are to things like logos and designs, things that would traditionally be done by actual designers and artists. I do not for one second buy this line.

there's a way in which a lot of the media coverage on AI use in games is beginning to converge on "well they're all using it, regardless of disclosure", in a way that so quickly turns into "so why bother caring", and I can't stress enough that it is still actually really easy to avoid AI games.
