I'm beginning to suspect that a key skill in working effectively with coding agents is developing an intuition for when you don't need to closely review every line of code they produce. This feels deeply uncomfortable!

. Silksong and Animal Well spend most of their time in "where tf am I (good)", but it's a very risky game. Rain World was great, but it did nudge me into "where tf am I (bad)" a little too often for my taste.

The Real Reason Most Indie Games Flop (It Has Nothing To Do With Gameplay)
Despite a boom in high-quality game development, most titles go unnoticed due to oversaturated platforms and outdated launch strategies. This article draws parallels with film and music to highlight how discovery—not content—is the industry’s true bottleneck. It advocates for new distribution models, from Fortnite’s UEFN and Roblox to embedded platforms like YouTube and Te

Nostr is not "immutable and verifiable" The lack of true, trustless verifiability is why I think Bluesky's approach with the PDS model is more robust.

Learning a new programming language with AI editors is hard, the autocomplete prevents you from getting in the reps you need 🤔 This might be a problem for younger devs.

Sure. Stackoverflow has done their survey several years running. The SWE profession is fragmenting. Developers are coming out of training in one of these clusters. And the clusters have a fairly distinct set of languages and stacks.

Underneath all of those articles is a deep fury that Bluesky punishes instead of rewarding lazy and/or hostile engagement farming. Try to build a following here with trolling and slurs and you'll find yourself in a ghost town. To them that is simply intolerable.

Still continually shocked at my inability to estimate how long features will take to implement. Thing I've dreaded for months are knocked down in days and "simple" features can drag on and on somehow require refactors all over the codebase.

A question for the AI fans out there: Where do I get started hooking AP up to a repository to have it write code? Context: I'm planning on doing a test to get *real work* done. I want to use each major AI model to do a simple task: analyze a project and write unit tests for it.

I'm getting _realllllly_ tired of the "Vercel built and pushed RSCs just to make money off servers" conspiracy theory. it comes up in basically every discussion thread about RSCs at this point. Genuinely don't know how to convince people otherwise. It's beyond a meme.
