The idea that economists have "better math" is hilarious. Most mainstream/neoclassical economics still uses mathematical models and methods the natural sciences abandoned as out of date in the 19th century.

Sending strength to AFGE, AFL-CIO, and NATCA comrades. Running tower and ground at the same time is virtually impossible and an accident waiting to happen. We need a general strike for the unpaid government workers at TSA being scabbed by ICE, but also our overworked Air Traffic Control.

This is beyond unethical for human subjects research. Not only was it an unsolicited grant, the study in Guinea-Bissau would involve deliberately withholding the hepatitis B vaccine from hundreds of newborn infants, putting them at great risk of death. Tuskegee 2.0.

This is why you never give an inch to the bigots. All those centrists dems (Newsom, Mayo Pete) claiming there are concerns around trans kids, you're complicit in this. This doesn't get rid of trans people, it just makes them suffer unbearably. Get your head straight: trans rights are human rights.

how in the actual fuck do you go about inferring a newborn infant’s “primary allegiance” to this or that country on the basis of what their parents or anyone else has done? this is simply evil. Birthright citizenship is an essential protection for the most voiceless and powerless of all: children.
