This was literally part of my training when I started working at a bank. If your boss tells you to do something illegal, don't do it. Not only don't do it, but report your boss for trying to get their employees to break the law for them. And then we had to take that training again every year.

Congressional stock trading has to be stopped. It’s corrupt, it’s deceptive, and I can’t believe it does not adversely affect critical decisions. We should pay them all a good wage and enable people across the economic spectrum to be able to compete.

Real good thread. There's no making good economic policy w/out solidarity against oppression/exploitation. Even if you look at it only from a voter recruitment angle, beneficial economic policies are unlikely to be recognized quickly by voters for a host of reasons, but solidarity will.
