This class of men, including Epstein, were naturally drawn to far right populism as a way to fight growing calls for accountability. They supported and inflated the far right wherever they could, and Epstein was part of it.

Making it make sense: Epstein wasn't a global mastermind. He did not orchestrate a vast conspiracy that led us to today. He was a very rich man with connections to other very rich men. The shared culture of these men is that they have a right to dominate and abuse others without consequence.

It's worth shaming companies and independant artists who put out AI generated content for no other reason than that they SHOULD be ashamed. It's embarassing, it's tacky, it cheapens your product. The aesthetics of image generation are the aesthetics of low effort and grift.

There's a real need for somewhat more curated storefronts for indie games. Maybe this exists already, but on big platforms like steam, itch, (even the nintendo shop!) you had to wade through swamps of shovelware to find anything decent, and AI content has only made them worse and less useful.
