Haven't done an old-fashioned scene report in quite a while, where I just went to a thing, then grabbed some people afterward and talked to them about their experiences. These were fun conversations, but also really unexpected in a lot of ways.

Perhaps Kinger is a less sinister version of Il-Nam. Old and senile, but often lucid to help ease the emotions of those around him. Kinger could be an old ailing dev who created TADC, perhaps for friends and wife who have long since passed, and decided to simply stay for the remainder of his life.
