The Showrunner AI people say it's NOT just a tool, it's a competitor, and that pencils don't stand up and write by themselves. This is what artists have been saying, but used as pro-AI marketing. It's the quiet part out loud, and quite frankly, probably good evidence in court.

In the Disney lawsuit, 10 pages are dedicated to citing the work we did. In pursuit of this evidence, Midjourney banned me 3 times and updated their ToS. The first ban encouraged me to dig a lot deeper, so I'd like to congratulate CEO David Holz on his massive unforced error.

This lawsuit is brutal. One of the exhibits is the letter Universal sent to Midjourney, including a quote from a 2022 Forbes interview that I bet midjourney regrets

As the AI discourse heats up, I recommend people familiarize themselves with the concept of "sealioning" and disengaging with said individuals the second you recognize it.

There's zero risk in AI "art". Didn't like it? Get another image in 5 seconds. You're not putting yourself into the work and therefore there's no vulnerability and no chance to be humbled. That's why artists get imposter 𝘴𝘺𝘯𝘥𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘦, while AI prompters are just imposters.
