Jesse Jackson was an early and ardent supporter of gay rights. In fact, on July 17, 1984 at the DNC in San Fransisco, the first speech EVER at a national political convention calling for gay rights was delivered by none other than Rev. Jackson himself.

If you are wondering what words the all-male Congress found so "blasphemous" that they felt compelled to literally scrape them off the monument, they were: ''Woman, first denied a soul, then called mindless, now arisen, declared herself an entity to be reckoned.''

One of the Minnesotans who stood up was Gust Johnson, a Vietnam war vet and nurse He went to scene after Alex Pretti was killed Agents repeatedly sprayed him in face They tackled him (knocking out hearing aid and cutting arm) They shackled him. They held him ten hours. They kept his phone.

I hear from people who are surprised I'm still talking about ICE, they thought they'd withdrawn from MN. No, they have not. In some respects they've escalated. Some asked why MN is a target. Are there are there a lot more illegals or criminals here? No, it's not about that. It's about a grudge.
