It's also important to remember that correlation over time can often be due to either to confounding variables, common causes, or mere coincidence, and does not automatically suggest causation.

The National Autistic Society has said that studies suggesting a correlation were weak, poorly designed, and ultimately did not provide reliable evidence. Other high-quality, well-controlled studies have instead indicated there is no link between paracetamol in pregnancy and autism.

Maybe quote post will work given replies seem broken? I was told this is what the current preferences are. But that's of course second hand and not direct, from a training workshop. My stance is to just ask people what they personally prefer and go with that.

Finally got what was probably the closest thing to a "grail" for our book library - a 1983 cartoon book parodying video games, by Tim Skelly, a prolific game artist of that era. The book is so rare that this advance copy is the only one I've ever seen for sale, I've never seen a regular edition!

This book is hilariously written and shows how out of control and unhinged the tech industry remains. I appreciated Wynn-Williams centering her idealism and it's decimation after attempting to "work from within" it's telling that meta would do everything it can to silence her.

Seconding this one. It's a turn-based take on the TMNT scrolling brawlers. One character, a constantly rolling stage full of hazards and a focus on maintaining combos for high scores. Also the soundtrack is extremely funky.

To be clear, the reason why I wonder about that specific thing is that I know a lot of antivax stuff relates to side effects that supposedly take a long time to happen, but the key thing is that because vaccines are out of your body so quickly, there's no biological way that can really happen.

Since I learned a lot more about this stuff, I've wondered a lot about what percentage of people know that vaccines are destroyed by your immune system within weeks, because your immune system thinks it's a real infection and wants to wipe it out, so in the process, it learns how to do it for real.

I liked one person's response to "I trust my immune system": "I trust mine too, that's why I gave it explicit instructions for what to do if it sees the virus."
