self-tutor cards like squadron hawk are reasonably unpopular in edh, where you can't run multiple copies. ranked by inclusion, tempest hawk (7.3k) is an obvious outlier as it is "relentless" but the anthem on clancaller lands it in 5.5k decks before things really drop off (790 for gigantiform). 🦅🦅

UPDATE: as predicted, the notoriety of being the least played card in edh has catapulted raging spirit's inclusion rate from 6 all the way to 21 - rank 26! 👻 (and bone shaman is up to 20 - rank 23) this means we have a new class of least played cards, namely squadron hawks and draft matters stuff.

when you're building an old-border edh deck do you include retro-frame reprints or just cards printed before 8th edition? 🤔 i'm torn on what creates a better experience. the old card aesthetic can't be beat and reprints make deckbuilding less creative, but allow for future additions, which is fun.

new additions to budget land cycles are interesting because it take a while for prices to normalize. at release both the new bicycles and tangos were $5. 💸 both have now dropped but the tangos have held much more value, which mirrors the trend among older pairs (most of which are just pennies). 📉🚲
