Exactly. Trans ppl are considered a “safe“ target, now that nearly 10% of the population identifies as queer, meaning just about everybody knows a gay person and is less vulnerable to propaganda about them. Trans people, on the other hand, are maybe 1 or 2% of the US population.

A few years ago (2021, not 2020) I made this comic with @mariacfrantz.bsky.social that I still like a lot. Today I got the original art (after ordering it to a friend’s place from @athenaeumcomicart.bsky.social a while ago), and tbqh I’m a bit emotional about it. Just look at how nice this art is!
