I've had 28 years to watch the movie the Godzilla soundtrack is tied to, and never bothered due to its reputation. But I liked the album then, and I like it now: an eclectic bunch of alternative artists signed to Sony at the time (and also P. Diddy, I guess). Worth it for "No Shelter" by RATM alone👍

A long-term project for me has been to re-buy all the albums I had in my teen years. I was gifted Blood on the Dance Floor (and a Matsui personal CD player) in June '97. This might be a hot take, but I think the five new songs on BOTDF are way better than (the new half of) HIStory, or Invincible...
