🧵1/6 I was born in #Bessboro in the early 70’s. A baby with dark hair & brown eyes had been ordered by a couple. I fit the bill. At 7 weeks old I was placed with the couple. My adoptive mother was a cold, unloving woman, I was bought to complete the ‘family’.

My grandmother Phyllis (Phyl) Elizabeth Ambler, born #OTD in Wallasey in 1908. Her mother was from #Shropshire. She met my grandad when visiting family and they moved to Gobowen after they married.(My brother now lives on the Wirral after marrying someone from Claughton!) #genealogy #FamilyHistory

Just found some records pointing to my great granduncle fleeing from Hungary in 1946 and coming to the Bronx in 1949 but i only see one census and one ship manifest in the US 😅 if anyone feels like helping me #genealogy #familyhistory
