I needed an accurate death date for my GGGgrandfather, John Clover of Texas. Based on information in a newspaper article about his wife's death and using FamilySearch Full Text search, I found him owning property in 1888 and his wife being the owner in 1889. Now I have a date to work with!

I was researching another family, but a January 2025 article demonstrating a woman who was thought to have died in Lyme #Connecticut actually died in Western New York. It was such a fun dive into record errors, migration patterns, same name overlaps, and more. Plus getting to solve a puzzle!
