So, if the purpose of a game is "fun", this is a clear failure. If a game requires someone to exist outside of the system and purpose of it to make it "work", that is entirely a failure of the system, its design and the other systems in which it slides into, social, economic, personal, etc.

Three points: a) there is no single type of "fun" b) the purpose of the art is not the be "fun", whatever that definition is c) the purpose of a system is what it does, and thus, better than pursuing "fun", you should focus in making the thing a system does is what you want it to do

Seeing some people saying "responsibility for enjoyment is shared equally around the table". I get the spirit; it is absolutely not true. You know it isn't true because a bad GM craters a game in a way a single bad player cannot.

8 sesiones de 2 horas por 135 euros salen a poco más de 8 euros por hora/alumno, que es menos de lo que cobraría un profesor particular de un idioma o de refuerzo escolar, y notablemente menos de lo que costaría un curso de escritura creativa.
