Marathon's new season launches next week, and there's a movement to be kind to new players. Last repost: The first year or so of Milestone's original Static series remain some of the best superhero comics of the past half-century. It's a sin that they're not recommended reading for any- and everyone interested in the history of the genre.

Like "work on your fundamentals" in art, music, & sports, it's vague advice but also the exact answer to the question.

proximity chat adds such a social thrill to Marathon. I'm used to single-serving friends on voice chat, but being able to engineer alliances or betrayals on opposing teams at times is really good. Some folks are naturally funny, others are too stoned to be schemers. I hope Bungie never nerfs lying.
