There's some talk about how Capcom are keeping the spirit of late PS2/Early PS3 game design alive with their recent releases. If that's the vibe you're after, I HUGELY recommend Kunitsu-Gami, which sold very (comparatively) little and feels like a gorgeous modern remake of some obscure PS2 game.
