The Artemis II crew are well equipped for photography and are paying attention to the opportunities. On the outbound leg of their journey to the Moon this photo showing global scale dim light phenomena was obtained. I have removed the interior cabin lights reflections and adjusted the brightness.

We literally got an email **this morning** that they were not going to solicit proposals for the *checks notes* lunar instrument development program this year.

Last night #NASA and White House cheered the TLI burn to send #ArtemisII to the Moon. Less than 12 hrs later - on Good Friday when people aren't at work - OMB drops a massive punitive cut to NASA. What a nice way to say "well done NASA".

Can folks please take some of that wonder at the possibilities of science and engineering that Artemis inspired and advocate for science? That would be extremely cool and fun of you to do.

If you watched the live NASA channel and all the NASA programming you’ve gotta give it up to some of the best science commentators in the business. Hill I will die on today, Artemis II day, but on all days too: The Moon is a place, a world, a sacred relative in some cosmogonies, and a fundamental part of Earth. So it’s a PROPER NOUN and you should give it a capital M! I will make this case in as many words as somebody wants me to write!
