I am gutted by the news comics and TV writer Gerry Conway has passed away. He wrote so many comics I treasure.

I'm so sad to hear of the loss of my old friend and colleague, Gerry Conway. I can't tell you how much I learned about writing comic books from reading his work as a fan and later, dialoguing stories over his plots. He was a natural storyteller and deserves his place as a genuine comic book legend.
