The Game Pass part is another important thing everyone will miss when discussing this. Sharma has clearly made sure these studios are not just shut down, or that they lose their IP to Microsoft, or that they are tied to GamePass contractually. It's unfortunate, but it's the best way. Clearly.

No matter how you look at it, all of these make total sense. As much as I love Double Fine and Undead Labs, the cost of running the studios while putting out minimal content that barely sells isn't a business model.

So I finally watched Obsession and I don't get the obsession? Pun of course intended. No shit it's made by a youtuber, the acting is mostly crap, dialogue is lame, the effects (lol the car kill?) are awful.. IMO only two good things it did well: lighting and tension (which it promptly wastes).
