The lovely glimpses I have been catching in the mirror are exponentially increasing. It's like a fog starting to clear and I am fully getting to absorb what this really is and that it's *me*. I'm there, it's correct and feels right now And it's only going to get better with time and healing

I have fought through the most challenging experiences of my life so far. Now is the time to lock in and fight hard to be who I need to be, and to have the life I want. I will make myself beautiful and I will make myself worthy of the love, care and respect I've earned from the people in my life.

I think one of the extra thorns of being sick over the last couple weeks was how much dysphoria arose... throat/voice especially awful It's felt like I lost control over the body I have to exist in. Sort of felt I'd lost grasp on my "self" I'm glad it's finally passing and I'm recovering now

it's like being trans is purely something *you* gotta work out for yourself; nobody can really tell u at the end of the day. you have to believe yourself. and then you start taking meds about it and your bodymind responds immediately with "correct!" buzzer noise

the way a lot of people find that mental fog clears up after starting hormones is very very interesting

I'm a bit late to this and hadn't really seen much of this work over the last few years - I sort of wish I had because it really resonates. Worth a read, and maybe a couple of bucks for a trans artist who has been able to express these profound experiences in such vivid ways.
