One of the things I like about Exalted 3e is that it is a rare system that makes "you don't actually get hit, you just lose advantageous position" a playable, usable mechanic, rather than an unsustainable reflavouring of a bog-standard HP loss.

One of my favourite things about Frieren, one that I keep thinking back to, is how the story gives meaning to Himmel's introduction in the show. There is this one scene in Episode 1 where the party is addressed. You know, "Himmel the hero, Eisen the Warrior, Heiter the Priest, Frieren the Mage".
