Really enjoyed the first 7 hours of PROJECT HAIL MARY, which is often very funny & proof that Ryan Gosling is so charming you can literally watch him talk to a rock. Even if the film is *constantly* interrupting itself to answer questions we didn't ask, which makes it feel like it goes on forever.

The incumbent right-wing mayor has been in the city all my adult life, and now we've got SEVEN MORE YEARS of him taking baby-step measures to combat heatwaves, yet also throwing his support behind a massive motorway from the last century.
