Inspired by @toohot4tv.bsky.social's podcast, I've rewatched The X-Files (1998, AKA Fight The Future). Still enjoyable, & a bit scarier than I remembered. Anyway, the official cover-up in the film shows that The #XFiles is still relevant in 2026!

Finished listening to this today. It was an exciting time when Earth & Beyond was released. I still have my cassette & have no recollection of any of the stories! Never heard Dark Eyes. I have a freebie download of The Great War. May give it a listen after hearing you sing it's praises.

Really enjoyed this chat! So many memories! I saw Gillian Anderson, in person, around 1996. Unlike GA appearances today, back then it was like she'd just come off the set - because she probably had! Have all the novels except 'Skin' and most recently blew through the three short stories volumes!
