I think what comes out of the @thedwshow.net List Makers on "Top 5 classic seasons" is that it's not necessarily about the seasons with the highest average scores, but seasons with strong TARDIS teams & consistent tones & ideas which carry you through any weaker stories.

I admit to growing up with Doctors 3 and 4, so may be just biased. But if I were making this list I'd be tempted to have 4 or even just possibly all 5 from their runs: 7, 10, 13, 14 and maybe 18. I struggle otherwise. I think season 26 would be up there if it had Remembrance instead of Battlefield.

Tough! I'm more used to listing favourite stories than seasons... asa top five, I'd probably go for: 21 22 12 20 13 (with 7 and 25 not far behind...)

It’s the week for big exciting boxes, and both persuasive lists (though surprised by what Rob doesn’t say)! My top 5(ish) Classic #DoctorWho seasons? My absolute fave the year of Dark Religion still grabs me more than anything else since little me was spellbound by it… 14 12 26 1 16 & 18 tied!
