I managed to get Jacob to sit down with me and watch episode 1 of Obi-Wan. He's obsessed with Star Wars right now. Those who know me know what a victory this is. He's gone through some emotional issues this year, and being able to watch something with him made me quite emotional.

Half Marathon Training: Run 51 - A little breezy but really lovely out there this evening. So I couldn’t resist getting out there for a quick 5K run. Just along the seafront. I’m going to attempt an 11K on Wednesday! Fingers crossed!🤞

A sky from another time…

Forging ahead with The Myth Makers (recon), one of my most wanted returns. The recon is good but it’s often tough going with the wonky soundtrack. It’s a clever, entertaining and funny story turning to tragedy at the end. A classic.

Now onto Mission to the Unknown (UCLan version). This is an excellent prequel/teaser for DMP. The care and detail that went into recreating this is incredible.

Still in a Hartnell/Season 3 mood, so it’s Galaxy 4 tonight (animation and existing episode). I do like that it’s becoming easier and easier to watch season 3 now, one of my favourite eras of the show. 🙂

My latest book. Decided to do a bit of a quick Who read before diving into something else. 73 Yards was one of my favourite episodes of recent years, so I’m looking forward to delving into the novelisation.

Half Marathon Training: Run 50 - Yesterday's run. Out with Matt for a catch up and a run up and down some hills in Croxby. It was a windy one but great to get out there again! Next week I'm hoping to slot in a 10K or 11K somewhere.

I had a lovely Good Friday. Watched two returned Doctor Who episodes, went for a run in Croxby with Matt, recorded a commentary for the DW episodes with good friends, went out for a pint and ended up doing karaoke, and ended the night with a video call to Sara. A good day! 🙂

Six years after starting my first novella, I finally have a version that I’m happy with. Multiple drafts, big rewrites, writer’s block, and a fair bit of life upheaval - but I got there. Though I’m sure there’ll be more edits once it's back from test readers. ✍️📖 So, anyone want to test read? 🙃

I’m really struggling to get through the final quarter of TNG season two. Every time I put an episode on I think of something better I could be doing. 🤣 Doesn’t help that I really fancy a Buffy rewatch right now as well.
