I just finished reading this gorgeously produced short story collection last night. SO good. Particularly loved, David Frankel's The Builder, Flo Ward's The End of the World and (I know you shouldn't have favourites but...) Nathaniel Spain's What My Father Left Behind. Get this book!!!

People love to assume new technology must be an improvement for all possible uses. That's rarely the case. AI is great at pumping out mediocre text in large quantities. That is excellent for certain things (spam emails, clickbait web copy, etc.). Novelists and publishers rarely need more quantity.
