Nigel Farage has been accused by multiple people he grew up with of extreme antisemitic comments and behaviour. Yet he's allowed to present himself as a champion of Jewish people. Meanwhile, our only Jewish leader, Zack Polanski, is smeared - because he opposes genocide.

Predictably, now we are getting the blame on Palestine marches for yesterdayâs appalling stabbing. And meanwhile some Palestine supporters are apathetic about what happened. In both cases, theyâre continuing to see Jews and Zionists as the same thing. Horrors like yesterday continue the cycle.

There tends to be very little acknowledgment by politicians that actors associated with the Iranian regime are involved in a lot of acts of antisemitism and violence. Instead they prefer to raise the issue of left-wing protesters - some of whom may say or do ill-advised things, but not this

Starmer says âantisemitic attack in Golders Green is utterly appallingâ after two people stabbed â latest updates
Man arrested after two people were attacked in north London, Jewish neighbourhood watch group Shomrim has said London mayor Sadiq Khan said the attack was âappallingâ and that he was in close contact with the Metropolitan Police. The Met has stepped up high-visibility patrols in the area, and thanked the emergency services and âheroic volunteersâ for their response to the incident. Londonâs Jewish community have been the target of a series of shocking antisemitic attacks. There must be absolutely no place for antisemitism in society. There has been a knife attack today in Golders Green. The suspect has been arrested. We would like to thank @shomrimlondon, @Hatzola and @metpoliceuk for their swift response. We are working closely with the police and urge anyone with information to contact the police, Shomrim and CST immediately. We are aware of a reported stabbing incident in Golders Green, with two injured. The police have apprehended a suspect. We are liaising with the CST, government and police to understand what has happened and ensure a forceful response. It is deeply concerning to everyone in this house. There is now a police investigation, and I think we all need to do everything we can to support that investigation and be absolutely clear in our determination to deal with any of these offences, the like of which we have seen too much recently. If American Jewish orgs want to say the phrase "From the river to the sea..." is unacceptable because it implies the erasure of Israel (I don't necessarily agree, but for the sake of argument), then we need to have a conversation about how many depictions of the state of Israel erase the West Bank.

I think that a useful thing for a journalistic outlet to do if it wants to debate the political merit of small acts of theft is to talk to people who are actually engaging in those acts based on their beliefs rather than, say, prominent media figures who talk/ write/opine for a living
