What will it take before Starmer realises that the only way to rescue this country from the pit of brexit is to begin - URGENTLY - the process of rejoining the EU.

Little of this is about Labour's grim economic inheritance. We wanted a Government that would come in and make the country better. Instead we've got one which feels very much as though its only interest is itself. And it's making the country worse.

No one from govt has explained how ill and disabled people who simply *can't work* are supposed to cope in deep poverty - potentially for the rest of their lives. Taking away money for essentials won't magically make them well or able bodied

PIP doesn't exist to replace working income. It exists because life as a disabled person is more expensive than life as a non-disabled person. Reduce PIP and you reduce disabled peoples' ability to do normal things, including work.
