Reading The Times report on speculated PIP cuts, I’m struck by not only how many people will lose vital support but how much we are already degraded to qualify. Have a stranger ask you how you wash “below the waist” and then tell us how easy it is to claim disability benefits.

I had a great glass kiln firing with no sacrifices to the Kiln Gods! Some will be made into jewellery, some into ornaments. Once I've done that I will photograph them & make them available. If you’re drawn to a politician because they promise to be cruel to Muslims or Jews or immigrants or gays or transgender people etc, the least you should do - the absolute, bare bones, still morally vacuous least - is ask yourself whether they’re likely to stop at the group you want to see targeted.

I'm so very done with Labour. To think that I was once a member a few years back. In trying to be everything to everyone they've become nothing to all. Everyone hates them now, I don't know who they're trying to appeal to as I don't think many are impressed!

Rachel Reeves during the election ruled out a wealth tax on the super rich as she said their spending plans didn't need the money. People with extreme disabilities unfit to work this Labour Government think are apparently not in need of the money. It's sick.

*Work in progress* I think I'm finally getting nearer to doing what I wish to do with ceramic jewellery. These were my first goes with using underglaze, and after their bisque firing. They now need covering in clear glaze, and another firing, I've yet to learn that bit!

Regular reminder that there is no reason Labour has to “eye billions of pounds in welfare and other cuts”. It’s more than possible to raise cash with targeted wealth taxes. Austerity is a choice and it’s a choice no matter what colour party is in power.

I wonder what these welfare cuts are going to be, & how Draconian? Are they going to click that PIP is also an in-work benefit? If you reduce it you could be actually stopping people from getting to jobs they already have? Taking away motability cars, bus passes etc, some electric wheelchairs etc.

Before and after firing my glass paintings in the kiln. Unfortunately not perfect in places, the glass paint pulled up & moved the black lines. Rhe edges just aren-t crisp. I'm pushing the limits with this technique though, fine lines on top of bare glass. Ho hum. They'll beade into pendants anyway.

Many of you have been interested in the snowdrop designs I have been doing. I am just wondering how important it is that they are hand-painted? I can get a drawing printed up into a decal and kiln-fire them onto ceramics or glass. The latter would mean there are more available and would be cheaper.

Things I don't understand about Instagram No, 354. I post one thing on Facebook and get 12,100 views (which is FAR more than my followers). I post the same thing on Instagram and get only 110 views (which is a 10th of my followers).

It's been an eventful few days, and I got to experience the sheer hell of A&E departments at the moment when a family member became ill. People in corridors, people on the floor, overworked stressed workers. What they're saying on the news isn't an exaggeration. 1/2
