And a few shots from the New Year's Day Swim at #Haltern Lake last week. Wonderful atmosphere this year, people really had fun, singing and dancing before their dash along the natural sand beach to the lake. One of the largest NYD swims in DE.

Came across this impressive red deer stag with his harem of 8 or 10 hinds on my walk (they were quite far away). And a cheeky little robin who kept following me until I threw him some seeds. Cute!

Meant to also photograph the Vietnamese leader, Tô Lâm, arriving for a handshake with Keir Starmer in Downing Street, but the timing was then so late that the images would have been either dark & grainy, or flat & washed out with flash - never really works for me at the No 10 door. Shame. Oh well.

And of course no day in Downing Street would be complete without a few cheeky snaps of its longest resident, Larry the cat. He likes his snooze on the window sill, even in heavy rain. (my clothes are still drying).
